What I am listening to
WIRED by Basement
A blend of post-hardcore and alt-rock are at the helm of the UK band's fifth album. The drums are loud, the guitars blast through speakers, and the vocals become anthemic chants, but each track finds a way to feel like a comforting hug on a fall afternoon. Throughout the 12 songs, there is a mix of high-energy rock and calming, introspective songs that allow anyone to listen.

Little Wide Open by Kevin Morby
I feel like I enjoy folk more and more as I get older. Something about the genre feels like you're listening to a friend tell their life story. The same goes for this album. Very acoustic driven folk songs with eclectic songwriting. Kevin has a true knack for writing entertaining music, even if there aren't many layers. I suggest listening to this one in a living room right after the sun just set, and maybe after a brief rain shower.

Rumspringa by ear
ear burst onto the scene without warning in 2025 and their first proper album feels the same way. It can lure you to sleep with its ambient elements just before waking you up with the most brash bassline you have ever heard. They fully dive into an album fueled by EDM, but it still feels stripped back. For some reason, it sounds like being a child just before you fully gain consciousness of the world. It feels hopeful. This record makes me believe ear is going to be a cult favorite in the 2020s and beyond.

Other Things
Most recent movie I watched
I recently watched Bugonia and I was entertained throughout, but I happen to be a big Emma Stone fan. The ending was a bit interesting and definitely could have lost some fans. However, I thought it fed into the mania that the story tried to portray. Overall, I'd suggest it.

Most recent concert/vinyl purchase
I went to see a small band from Michigan called Racing Mount Pleasant last week. They are an abstract rock/indie band similar to Black Country, New Road or caroline. Something about a saxophonist in a rock band will always grab my attention. I also left with a vinyl of their self titled album, which happened to be my favorite album of last year. I now own 126 records on vinyl.
Travels/Hobbies
I just visited Europe for the first time and met distant relatives in Formia, Italy. Formia is a tiny beach town in between Rome and Naples. It is a town full of older people, and one in which everyone knows everyone. I was given home-cooked lasagna, meatballs, and pastries. Just for lunch. Safe to say I slept pretty good on the train from Formia to Naples later that evening.
Wait... Who even am I?
I am Vincent Robert Gallucci IV. I was born in Atlanta, Georgia, where I spent most of my life until moving to Florida during my Junior year of high school. I am the son of Vincent and Nicole Gallucci, two Italian, New Jersey born parents who raised me in a very old school fashion. They owned Italian restaurants my whole life, so most of my childhood was consumed by busy Friday nights in a hectic kitchen where I would help any way I could. Outside of the restaurant, I played baseball, basketball, and football, with basketball being my main love of the three. I still watch all 82 Knicks games, and if we are lucky, I glue myself to the TV for the playoffs. I attended college at Florida State University where I expanded my media, marketing, and people skills. Currently, I am a month removed from graduating and searching for a job in the entertainment industry. I enjoy bike rides, making music, a suspenseful TV show, and spending time with the people closest to me.
